Hi, I’m TJ, a high school visual arts instructor and multidisciplinary creative from Modesto, CA. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design and Motion Graphics and will complete my Master’s in Art Education in December 2026. I’ve spent over 20 years working across art, design, video, and audio, with the past seven years dedicated to teaching high school visual arts.
I believe the art room should be a place where students feel connected, supported, and free to find their creative voice. I try to lead with empathy, humor, and heart.
Outside the classroom, you’ll usually find me working out, running, spending time in the mountains with my family, or exploring a new creative project.
